With generous help from the Hungry Children Project in Los Angeles, Operation Ukraine will be able to send a 40' container full of medical supplies to the Maternity Hospital and Children's Hospital in Artemovsk!!
Hungry Children's Project is covering the costs of the supplies AND the shipping - which is a huge blessing!
However, you can help to make this blessing even bigger....
We will be accepting donations towards the cost of medical equipment until December 5, 2007.
Whatever money we raise will go to purchase medical equipment that has been refurbished by Global Operations and Development/Giving Children Hope, who is also packing the container with supplies.
These hospitals desperately NEED this equipment. Please consider a donation to this project - it will truly save lives of mothers and children in this small Ukrainian city.

Children in the Internat
performed a variety show for guests that included the Mayor of Artemivsk
and Superintendent of Education, who oversees orphanages. The children
and teens sang, acted out skits in costume and enjoyed goodies like fresh
fruit and candies! What beautiful, talented children! Notice how excited
the children are about the fruit - not something they are fortunate enough
to have every day. Also note that these are the very best clothing and
shoes they have - not what they wear each and every day!
